The Merits and Demerits of Butterfly Valve
Merits:
1. Open and close quickly, easily, has small fluid resistance, could
operated frequently.
2. Has simple structure, small size and light weight.
3. It could transport mud, has the least accumulation of fluid in
the outlet of the pipe.
4. When in low pressure, it could achieve a good seal.
5. Has good regulate performance.
Demerits:
1. small working pressure and temperature range.
2. Poor seal performance.
